Climbing ice started in the early days of mountain climbing as climbers encountered the hard water ice in the gullies and faces of their lofty objectives. With this Ice Climbing experience you will be given an introduction to a very cool sport! The UK’s most challenging ice walls offer 8 or 16 metres of real indoor ice climbing - inside at a constant temperature of -12°C a concave, real ice climbing wall presents a steep challenge for all aspiring adventurers!

As part of a small group (3-6 people), you’ll be allocated a car and your instructor for the session. Then it’s time to get out there and experience the controls of a rally car. You’ll take it in turn to drive while the others watch in approximately two separate stints.

On arrival at the centre your parent or guardian will be asked to sign you in and then you’ll be given a full safety briefing. Then it’s time to put on your racing suit and helmet and make your way down to the pit area beside track where you will get in your kart and the real fun begins! Enjoy a number of timed sessions on your chosen circuit before the flag brings you back into the pits. The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue so please check before making your booking.

Now you can discover the thrill of driving as you get behind a steering wheel for the first time in safe, controlled conditions. An Approved Driving Instructor will show you the rudiments of driving and you’ll gain confidence in open spaces and a relaxed atmosphere. Experience the thrills of aerobatic flight manoeuvres such as loops (the world becomes all green, then blue and then all green again), rolls, stall turns, chandelles and steep turns. The planes used for this exhilarating flight include Chipmunk, Pitts Special, Cap 10, Cessna Aerobat, Slingsby Firefly or Stampe Biplane. Depending on location, you can take the controls in a trial lesson under the guidance of an expert instructor, or you can take a pleasure flight as your pilot puts the plane through its paces.

Gorge walking offers an adrenalin-fuelled outdoor adventure like no other. As your friendly instructor/guide leads you up the river gorge, you will be jumping across boulders, crawling along narrow ledges, climbing waterfalls and taking blind leaps of faith. The day culminates with a jump from Loonies Leap where you can choose between the 10 foot or the 18foot leap!
